Principles of Meridian Therapy and Acupressure – Years 3

For thousands of years, traditional Chinese and Japanese practitioners have recognised a network of energy channels traversing the body called Meridians.
Acupressure involves stimulating these meridians in specific points called Tsubos to release functional blocks, stimulate lymphatic drainage and encourage
healing of inflamed, restricted and poorly functioning regions of the body. During this module students will be educated in this ancient therapeutic art and the
practical benefits of its use in treating our patients today. Instruction will be given on the relevant meridian points on the horse and the safe and gentle
application of this technique during both theory and practical lectures.
